I don’t think Blaine fell in love at the staircase. I’ve never believed that. I think he fell so slowly that he didn’t even realize that he was in love with Kurt for the longest time. It felt natural. It was like breathing. He grew up thinking love was this extraordinary thing. Fireworks. But love is ordinary, and that’s kind of the most beautiful thing about it.

seriously, i am being strong here. waiting for les mis to finally get released here. i really am, but all these fucking gifs all over my fucking dash are making this really fucking hard!
FINALLY watched The Shawshank Redemption. and god damnit i get why it’s up on every fucking top 100/whatever movie list there is. brilliant piece of cinema. like there isn’t a fault in the entire movie. the story is gripping (that’s the main thing, really, cause i did not expect to fall right into the story without ever getting bored. i wasn’t bored for a second and that barely happens), the actors are so good i just wanna weep over their brilliance and just the whole feel was so well done. seriously, no idea why it took me forever to watch it, but am i glad i finally did. i actually have that awesome feeling in my stomach after you’ve seen something perfect and are just glad that you could be part of it. (i’ll stop now, but damn brilliant!)
THIS IS A PSA ABOUT HOW TO ORGANISE THE TAGS THAT TUMBLR AUTOMATICALLY SAVES FOR YOUR BLOG
Basically, it saves the tags from the first 20-30 or so pages of your blog. No later than that. So if you want certain tags to always be saved, go find a really old post of yours and hijack it - put all your useful tags on it. This post will show up right at the end of the last page of each of those tags, but I think it’s worth the hassle of having to type out tags every day.
I tried doing this with a post on about the 60th oldest page of my blog and it didn’t work, but it did with a post on the 20th oldest.
Beware that posts can have a maximum of 30 tags, so if you have more regularly used tags than that you might need to hijack two or more posts.
Conversely, if you’ve got random tags that you only used once and they’re annoying and they clog up your tag drop-down, you can just find the posts that are tagged with them and then delete the tags or delete the posts and they won’t appear in the tag drop-down ever again. NB: this doesn’t take effect until the next day, because of the ‘use a tag once and it shows up for the rest of that day’ - editing the post with the annoying tag on it apparently counts as ‘using that tag’.
Disclaimer: I found this all out through experimentation, so it might not hold up for everyone, but I wanted to share.
Drank Strawberry Caipirinhas, ate brownies and watched “The Proposal”. Perfect Friday evening in with my roommate hallowchaser.
